The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) have extended the flexibility in complying with requirements related to Form I-9 until July 31, 2023, according to a statement from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. The current I-9 form was set to expire on Oct. 31, 2022, but DHS and ICE announced that employers may continue using the current version beyond that expiration date until further notice.
