Wisconsin’s Department of Health Services (DHS) announced on Friday a security incident affecting one of its partners, Disability Rights Wisconsin (DRW), according to WMTV15. The incident may have exposed over 19,000 Wisconsin Medicaid members’ health information.

Officials reported that a DRW email account showed suspicious activity. DRW is mailing notifications to Wisconsin Medicaid members who may have been impacted by the incident; those affected will be offered free credit monitoring for one year.

DHS and DRW are continuing to investigate the incident.
