A proposal by Lincoln Avenue Capital for affordable housing would mean the demolition of the Fast Forward Skating Center, at 4649 Verona Road on Madison’s south side, according to a WKOW-TV 27 report. If approved by the city, the business would be replaced by a $1.3 million Summit Ridge Apartment development that would include 70 units, 59 of which would be income-restricted. The project is one of several stemming from an $8.2 million Dane County award for housing development projects.
