A developer working on a mixed-use housing and entertainment district wants to add a hotel to its DeForest project.
Madison WMTV reported DeForest’s Cascade Development presented revised plans Tuesday evening that included a four-story Marriott Towne Place Suites with up to 89 rooms.
The hotel would be located on part of the 11.6 acres between 4130 and 4160 Savannah Drive, just off of State Highway 19.
If approved, developers will aim to start construction in mid-May and finish the project in August 2027.
