Curt Brink, a developer with approved plans for an 11-story, 230,000 square-foot mixed-use project at 929 E. Washington Ave., is changing his plans for the project, according to a report from Wisconsin State Journal. Brink has revised the plan to a 14-story tower with first-floor commercial space and less housing and office space. The new project offers 95,797 square feet of commercial and office space and 105 apartments. The glassy exterior design has been modified to be influenced by the historic brick Kleuter building, now the Indigo Hotel. The changes are due to market forces driven by COVID-19 that affect the demand for office space.
