The Destination Madison Awards (DMAs) will return this year to celebrate 50 years of impact, the organization announced. The DMAs recognize individuals and organizations who exemplify tourism excellence and the spirit of hospitality that solidifies the Madison area as a world-class visitor destination.
Three to five finalists will be chosen per award category by the selection committee of industry professionals and invited to attend Destination Madison’s This is 50: A Celebration of Our Destination event on Wednesday, Nov. 29 at The Sylvee. Award winners will be announced live at the event.
Award categories include:
- Rising Star Award;
- Destination Host Award;
- Behind the Scenes Service Award;
- Distinguished Achievement Award; and
- Sylvia and Herb Frank Visionary Award.
Nominations are due by Friday, Sept. 15 at 5 p.m.
