Despite losses, Wisconsin banks remain strong through pandemic

First-quarter 2020 numbers from the Wisconsin Bankers Association show growth in lending and deposits for Wisconsin banks, despite losses on farm and farmland loans and an increase of noncurrent loans and leases of 3.7%.

Net loans and leases grew by 5.1%, while deposits increased by 3.2%.
