On January 1, three former coworkers at Design Structures in Madison purchased the assets of Design Structures’ Wisconsin operation and formed a new design-build commercial construction company called 1848 Construction Inc.
The Design Structures west coast location will wind down soon, as Senior Partner and CEO Mike Zingg, who headed up that office, retires.
All Design Structures employees were retained by 1848 and the office location remains the same. Jim Anderson succeeds Zingg in the role of CEO for 1848 Construction.
