Department of Labor requests participation in worker equity online dialog

The U.S. Department of Labor’s (DOL) Office of Disability Employment Policy, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, and the Women’s Bureau is hosting a national online dialogue, Advancing Worker Equity at the U.S. Department of Labor, and is asking for input before it closes on Oct. 4, 2021. The online dialogue hopes to encourage ideas from federal contractors and subcontractors on how to best reach businesses owned by underrepresented individuals, as well as how existing contracting assistance programs can better support equity. The feedback and ideas gathered will help inform potential policies and programs to advance worker equity, including women, people of color, LGBTQ+ people, people with disabilities, and other underrepresented communities.
