UW Credit Union is looking for another east side location after plans to open a branch at the site of a long-vacant Sentry store on Cottage Grove Road fell through.

The city is looking for more density on the 1.9-acre lot, causing the credit union to pull out of the deal.

According to the Wisconsin State Journal, the city wants more density there with a mix of retail, commercial, and housing up to four-stories high, which the credit union could not deliver.
