The Society of St. Vincent de Paul–Madison will demolish its facility at 1301 Williamson St., along with a portion of its neighboring thrift store, in December, according to a Wisconsin State Journalreport. The buildings will be replaced by a single, two-story facility that will hold retail space on the first floor while serving residents in need on the second floor. Currently, the store and programming are spread out over three adjoining buildings.
