DeForest Liquor Mart will close at the end of December after 41 years in business, The Star reports. The family-owned business was opened in 1983 by John and Gail Heibl and William and Sharron Heibl.
The Heibls also own Regent Street Liquor and are looking to downsize their overall operations. The DeForest Community Development Authority offered to buy the DeForest Liquor Mart and redevelop the site.
