Middleton-based Death’s Door Spirits, producer of gin, vodka, whiskey, and other spirits, has filed for bankruptcy.
The company, founded by CEO Brian Ellison, filed for Chapter 11 the day before Thanksgiving, according to an article in The Capital Times. It could go up for auction as soon as Dec. 19.
