Dean Health has signed an agreement with Green Bay-based Prevea Health and St. Vincent Hospital to offer health insurance through a managed care provider network in northeast Wisconsin. The insurance, marketed as Prevea360, will be based on Prevea’s network of hospitals, physicians, and ancillary providers. The partnership fills a niche in the Green Bay market, according to Dean Health CEO Dr. Craig Samitt. “What’s missing in the Green Bay region and other markets is a partner with the expertise to integrate all three components of health care delivery – hospital, physician and, now, insurance,” said Samitt in a company press release.
