Dane County Humane Society (DCHS) on Tuesday, Nov. 28 will celebrate community support on the global day of giving, GivingTuesday, with its biggest fundraising goal yet. GivingTuesday is held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, and participating organizations encourage people to give back.
DCHS also announced its largest matching gift ever. Donations made between Saturday, Nov. 25, and Tuesday, Nov. 28, will be doubled to $35,000. With the help of this matching gift, DCHS is turning to the community to help reach its highest goal ever of raising $90,000.
