Beginning April 12 and running each Saturday through Nov. 8, the Dane County Farmers’ Market (DCFM) will host its Saturday Market on the Square from 6:15 a.m.-1:45 p.m. On July 12, during Art Fair on the Square, the DCFM will be held at Breese Stevens Field. The DCFM Wednesday Market on the 200 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. will begin April 23 and continue through Nov. 5 from 8:30 a.m.-1:45 p.m.
The DCFM will hold its final Late Winter Market this Saturday, April 5, at Garver Feed Mill from 8 a.m.-noon.
With over 200 vendors, the DCFM is known as the largest producer-only farmers market in the nation, offering flowers, fresh vegetables, cheeses, cured meat and more. New this year, the DCFM is offering official merchandise, including T-shirts and tote bags. Gift certificates can also be purchased online or in person at the Wednesday Market.
From June 1 to Oct. 31, SNAP/EBT customers will be able to participate in the Double Dollars nutrition incentive program. During this time period, customers using SNAP/EBT can receive up to $20 matched dollars every market to spend on fresh fruits and vegetables with Wisconsin farmers.
