DBA announces Dairy Strong conference speakers

The Dairy Business Association (DBA) announced several political analysts, agricultural experts, farmers, and business strategists will be among featured speakers at its 2025 Dairy Strong conference. The conference will be held at the KI Convention Center in Green Bay on January 15-16, kicking off with a party at Lambeau Field and concluding with the Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin’s Master Cheese Reception and a celebration for DBA’s 25th anniversary.

Featured speakers and topics will include:

  • Drew Kessler from Houston Engineering Inc., leading a discussion with farmers  Michael Crinion and Patrick Maier, who are completing their first year of the Farmers for Sustainable Food Climate-Smart Program;

  • Dana Coale, deputy administrator, Agriculture Marketing Service joining other Federal Order Milk Marketing officials to discuss the progress and expectations of the final Federal Milk Marketing Orders rule;

  • Cassandra Kuball, vice-president of the Torrey Advisory Group, providing an outlook on dairy policy in Washington, D.C. for 2025, with Edge Director of Government Affairs Karen Gefvert discussing Edge’s policy priorities for the upcoming year; and

  • Ag economists Mike North and Marin Bozic discussing their predictions and insights for the milk marketing landscape, particularly in the Upper Midwest where supplies may be tighter in the new year.
