Ron Dayne was about to lend his name to a Madison restaurant a few years ago, but his potential partner’s background was an obstacle to obtaining a liquor license. Now, just a rumor, but I’m hearing the UW Heisman Trophy winner is teamed up with a reputable regional restaurateur and is looking for a Madison-area location. Maybe Waunakee?
