Day of the Badger returned to the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus April 8-9 with an online day of giving to support UW, WMTV15 reports. The Wisconsin Foundation & Alumni Association called the fundraiser a “huge success,” as it raised over $1.7 million from 4,411 donors.

Participants were able to contribute to over 150 different causes between roughly 10 a.m. on Tuesday and 5 p.m. on Wednesday. While the giving event has officially concluded, opportunities to donate are still available here.

In total, the campaign has raised $10.2 million since its beginning. The money will be put toward the UW-Madison campus’ greatest areas of need, organizers say.
