David’s Jamaican Cuisine reopened Monday in a new spot at 1006 E. Broadway in Monona, according to the Wisconsin State Journal. The location is 1.5 miles from its previous space at 5696 Monona Drive, where it had been housed for five years before closing last August.
The new location underwent a remodeling process, and owners obtained a license to sell food there last Friday. Owners said that the restaurant’s prior location was aging and their former landlord ended their lease to sell the building.
The new space will be open Monday–Saturday from 11:30 a.m.–8:30 p.m. It will not offer a weekday lunch buffet or Friday night buffet like the previous location.
