In Dane County, sales of new cars and trucks continued to increase in February, according to Reg-Trak of Waterloo. Trucks were more popular, with 709 sales compared to 559 auto sales. For the nine-county region, sales increased 5.75% compared to February 2012. Dane County’s sales increased slightly, up 0.48% (1,268 vehicles) compared to 1,262 the prior February.
