Dane County Supervisor Doyle to resign

Dane County Supervisor Elizabeth Doyle, the chair of the Personnel and Finance Committee, announced that she will resign from the Dane County Board due to a move out of District 1. Her last day of service will be March 31.

Doyle joined the Dane County Board of Supervisors on June 20, 2019. During her tenure, she served as the chair of the Health and Human Needs Committee from April 2020-May 2022, when she took on the role of chair of the Personnel and Finance Committee. The Personnel and Finance Committee provides oversight of the county’s finances, including the annual budget.

There will be a special election to fill the District 1 seat. Once the timeline is set by the Dane County clerk, information regarding the process will be announced.
