After experiencing its busiest summer on record, the Dane County Regional Airport is taking flight like a turkey finding a spot to roost, with the airport expecting its busiest Thanksgiving for flights in 15 years.
According to a WKOW report, airport officials report a 10% increase in passengers over the same period last year, a 15% increase in flights and 11% increase in available seats.
What that means is more flights to choose from and more seats on those flights.
Nationwide, however, the travel numbers are a little more mixed, with aviation analytics company Cirium reporting a drop in flight bookings by 4.5% compared to the same time frame last year.
