Dane County is partnering with nonprofit Safe Communities Madison-Dane County to distribute 100 Overdose Aid Kits (OAK) throughout the county, NBC15 reports.

The boxes, created by Serve Rx, will be placed in areas that data shows have a higher prevalence of opioid-related deaths.

In addition, this summer, three vending machines with Narcan and other resources will be installed at the Dane County Jail, Public Health Offices on East Washington Avenue, and a third location yet to be determined.
