A coterie of mayors will discuss regional challenges like housing, transportation, talent, economic development and more at the Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce’s Advocacy in the A.M. panel on Dec. 16.
Included in the group of mayors are Julia Arata-Fratta (Fitchburg), Luke Diaz (Verona), Emily Kuhn (Middleton), Nancy Moore (Monona), Satya Rhodes-Conway (Madison), Steve Stocker (Sun Prairie) and Tim Swadley (Stoughton). Chamber board member and Madison Magnet President Joey Broms will moderate the panel.
The major topic for discussion is population growth, with Dane County expected to grow by 325,000 residents in the next 25 years. The mayors will discuss challenges and opportunities related to the growing population.
The Advocacy in the A.M. — Mayoral Panel will take place from 8-10 a.m. at the Fluno Center at 601 University Ave.
