The Department of Workforce Development (DWD) is celebrating Workforce Development Month through September with open house events at Job Center of Wisconsin locations across the state.
With the theme, “The Power of Partnership,” these events recognize the importance of partnerships between job seekers, employers, and community-based organizations in each local area to nurture a healthy and strong Wisconsin workforce.
The Dane County Job Center, 1819 Aberg Ave., Madison, will host an open house today from 1–3 p.m., with a focus on the services and tools available to match employers and job seekers, and services offered by community-based organizations that help people reach their career goals.
