The Dane County Humane Society is set to receive 10 pallets of donated items on Tuesday from Mounds’ Humane Holidays donation drive.
“We are very grateful to our community for their generosity,” Lisa Bernard, DCHS’s development and communications supervisor, said in a statement. “Thank you to Mounds for their longtime support of animals in need and for hosting events throughout the year that make it easy for our community to get involved and make a difference for the animals that rely on us.”
Mounds hosts the drive each year to help support DCHS. Food, toys, treats and more are all donated.
The donations will be delivered to DCHS’s main shelter at 5132 Voges Road in Madison.
