Dane County house prices were on the rise in 2025, with median home sale prices up 1.9% since last year, the Cap Times reports.

Median home prices rose from $443,500 to $452,000, according to data from the South Central Wisconsin Multiple Listing Service for the first 11 months of the year. The number of listings also rose 3% over last year.

The supply of houses sat at two months’ worth, the total number of homes available for sale in a market at a given time and the length of time it would take to sell them at current prices, which is below average for the city.
