Dane County existing home sales higher in June

Dane County’s existing home sales spiked another 12% in June, compared to June 2012. Single-family homes and condos both saw increases, according to the South Central Wisconsin MLS. The median sale price rose 8.9% to $255,000. A year ago, the median price was $206,696.

Condos have fared slightly better than single-family homes, with a 10.8% increase in the median sales price in June compared to a 5.7% increase for homes. Demand for all properties continues to outpace supply.
