The Air Line Pilots Association International (ALPA) honored Dane County Regional Airport as its 2016 Airport of the Year for its collaborative approach to aviation safety.
The ALPA notes that Dane County Regional makes safety a top priority by regularly seeking input from industry stakeholders. The Airport of the Year award is selected from nominations made by ALPA’s regional airport safety chairmen and airport safety liaisons representing pilots’ interests at more than 150 airports in the United States and Canada.
