Dane County is awarding $94,362 in Dane Arts grants to dozens of local organizations focused on community arts, history and culture.
County Executive Melissa Agard and the Dane County Arts and Cultural Affairs Commission announced the full list of grant recipients on Friday. Among the awards are 61 project grants, seven capital grants and five short order grants.
In total, organizations requested more than $275,000 in support this grant cycle.
Dane Arts will award $211,000 in public-private funds to nonprofits, schools, individuals and municipalities before the year’s end.
Dane Arts grant funding is provided by county dollars and private donations from Diane Ballweg and the Endres Manufacturing Co. Foundation.
