Kanopy Dance will move its State Street studios to make way for a proposed $100 million mixed-use development, according to a statement from the company.
The Kanopy Dance Academy and Studios are planning to remain downtown but will vacate their current location, at 341 State St., by June 1, 2021. Urban Land Interests has sold the building at State and Gorham streets housing the studios and several other businesses, including A Room of One’s Own bookstore, Casa de Lara restaurant, and Community Pharmacy.Â
