CUNA Mutual reports earnings growth

For all of 2013, CUNA Mutual Group recorded net income of $162 million compared to $150 million in 2012 (GAAP accounting), an increase of 7.8% year-to-year. The company said weather-related losses were offset by strong operating results in its lending, life, health, and property and casualty products. GAAP operating revenue grew by 8.6% in 2013.
