Eleven vendors chosen for The Culture Collectives program are now open on State Street, according to an announcement from the city of Madison. The pop-up shops will feature products from these businesses in two storefronts located at 440 and 444 State St. Vendors chosen are:
- Ardorposh — contemporary and modest clothing for women;
- Better Footprints — reusable and naturally made products;
- DKs Boutique — boutique accessories;
- El Legado — clothes, accessories, jewelry, and genuine handmade items;
- Intuition Productions — multimedia edutainment production and merchandise;
- Madame Chu Delicacies — handcrafted products specializing in Southeast Asian delicacies;
- Marche-Isa Co. — clothing and accessories from Africa;
- Nobbits USA — high-performance shoelaces;
- Oceans Laugh — flower bath kits and jars;
- OnlyOne Photography — photography services and art; and
- Restoration Soap & Bodycare — natural and sustainable sourced products using oil blends, purees, and botanicals.
The Culture Collectives Madison Pop-Up Shop Program is a new city of Madison initiative to support small-scale, less-resourced businesses and fill vacant storefronts as the community recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic. The businesses are now open daily from 10 a.m.–6 p.m., and an official grand opening will be held on Friday, Oct. 22.
