Middleton-based North Central Group announced the purchase of the Crowne Plaza Hotel at 4402 E. Washington Ave., which the company plans to shut down and completely renovate and rebrand, reopening it in the fall of 2020 as a Hilton DoubleTree hotel.
The planned work includes a full renovation of the building’s lobby, guestrooms, restaurant/bar, and meeting/banquet spaces.
