The Center for Research on the Wisconsin Economy (CROWE) and the University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Economics will host “Inflation, Debt & the Future of the Economy,” a lecture with John H. Cochrane of the Hoover Institution, on Thursday, April 3 in the Plenary Room at UW-Madison’s Grainger Hall, 975 University Ave.
Cochrane is the author of The Fiscal Theory of the Price Level, a comprehensive account of how government deficits and debt drive inflation. He also writes the Grumpy Economist blog. A nacho bar reception will take place after the talk. The event is free and open to the public.
