Dane County Credit Union and Heartland Credit Union intend to merge into one organization serving about 37,000 members, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report. Combining the two credit unions with locations throughout the Madison area and across the state will create a new $600 million entity. Merging operations of the two credit unions will allow combined resources for improved services and greater access to newer technologies.
