Laura Gallagher, president of the Creative Company, is the featured panelist for the Early Stage Symposium on Nov. 5-6 at the Monona Terrace Convention Center.
The Early Stage Symposium is an event hosted by the Wisconsin Technology Council, highlighting Wisconsin’s “next hot ventures.”
Gallagher and fellow leaders will discuss the challenges and opportunities entrepreneurs face when in charge of growth, cultivating relationships and shaping a company’s future.
“Many business owners discover that leading growth is as much about creativity and storytelling as it is about sales,” Gallagher said in a statement. “This panel is an opportunity to explore that balance and the lessons that come from being both visionary and rainmaker.”
The symposium will feature other panels focused on startup pitches, investor panels and networking opportunities. The event will also host open mic sessions, allowing investors to meet creators and fund businesses, akin to the TV show “Shark Tank.”
Gallagher’s business was recognized as Dane County’s Small Business of the Year in 2022, and she was recognized as SBA’s Women in Business Champion of the Year and a Wisconsin Trailblazer.
