In a letter to the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, Create-Ability announced that it will close the organization on Aug. 31, 2021. Established in 1995, Create-Ability Inc. is a private nonprofit agency that provides residential and supported employment services to adults with developmental disabilities who live in Dane County. Upon closure of the organization, 61 positions including residential support staff members, coordinators, the executive director, an accountant, and a program director will be eliminated.
