According to a Wisconsin State Journal report, Covance and LabCorp, which merged in February, have named Deborah Keller, executive vice president and group president of Covance R&D Laboratories, as the eventual successor to Joe Herring, CEO of Covance.
A departure date for Herring was not announced. He has been the head of the company for more than a decade.
Keller has a master’s in business administration from UW–Madison and in 2012 was named one of FierceBiotech’s 10 Top Women in Biotech.
