Wisconsin-based Cousins Subs announced expansion plans for 2025 and beyond, including opening new restaurants in other Midwest states, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. The company opened seven new restaurants in 2024, among them two new, corporate-owned Indianapolis locations.

Cousins currently has 95 locations, 57 of which are corporate owned and over 30 of which are in the Milwaukee area. The Indianapolis restaurants are the only ones outside of Wisconsin at present.

The company said it plans to open three new stores in 2025. Two will be in south-central Wisconsin — in Janesville and Madison — and one will be in Indianapolis. Expansion options in future years reportedly include Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky.
