Couple charged with embezzling from trucking company

Sun Prairie couple Robert and Tammie Davis have been charged with forging 149 checks totaling $363,240.38 while the latter worked for CSM Companies, a trucking business on Madison’s east side. They have each been charged with two counts of theft of more than $10,000 in a business setting and multiple counts of felony forgery. Tammie Davis started working for CSM in 2007 and wrote the checks payable to her husband between January 2008 and October 2012.
