The Dane County Veterans Service is looking to move from its downtown location within the City-County Building at 210 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., to 1719 Aberg Ave., according to a Wisconsin State Journalreport. The new office would be located near the Dane County Job Center and close to other services for veterans, and provide free off-street parking. The department would sign a five-year lease with Northgate Ventures at a cost of nearly $62,500 per year and spend another $276,000 renovating the Veterans Service Office at the site.
