Dane County is seeking bids for two construction projects slated to begin this summer. A new regional medical examiner’s facility will include state-of-the-art forensic technology that will facilitate death investigations and aid local law enforcement and prosecutors in resolving complex cases.
The county also plans to build a new highway garage to serve eastern parts of Dane County. Both structures will be built on land the county owns near the intersection of Hwy. 12/18 and County AB.
The projects are expected to create about 250 construction jobs over the next 12 to 18 months.
