Dane County has approved $18,513 in grants funded through the Dane County’s Land and Water Legacy Initiatives and from donations from businesses to fuel 19 projects that benefit the environment, according to a report from Wisbusiness.com.
The Dane County Environmental Council’s Community Partners and Capital Equipment grants will fund 19 conservation, restoration, and education projects across Dane County with the requirement they benefit the county’s natural resources and residents. Grant recipients will also match the funds to complete the projects.
