County announces living wage plan

The Dane County Board of Supervisors introduced a measure to phase in a living wage increase over six years, beginning in 2017 when it increases to $12.50 per hour until it reaches $15 in 2022. After that, the wage will be indexed to inflation.

The County’s Personnel and Finance Committee plans to consider the measure at its next meeting.
