Council approves sandwich board rules

The Madison City Council agreed to allow businesses to legally place promotional sandwich boards outside their establishments if they get a permit first.

Annual permits will begin in April, and signs placed on public sidewalks cannot be larger than 30 inches wide by 48 inches high.
