McFarland developer Craig Frank is busy building a new mixed-use development in Cottage Grove, an area he’s had his eye on for quite a while.
Frank is building Cottage Grove Commons, a four-story complex on about 6.9 acres of land at the corner of Gaston Road and Highway N. It will include 105 market-rate apartments and 8,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space, according to a report in the Herald-Independent, and is expected to be ready by August.
The project will also include four eight-unit condominium buildings that will start at about $220,000 for a two-bedroom unit, and $240,000 for a three-bedroom unit. Two of the four buildings should be open in July, with the others following as the market demands.
