One Community Bank announced that Cottage Grove’s Misty River Woodworks was awarded a $15,000 grant as part of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago’s Community First Accelerate Grant program. The program assists the growth and development of small businesses in Wisconsin and Illinois.
Misty River Woodworks is an over 25-year-old family-owned business. It will invest the funds from this grant in infrastructure upgrades that will help the company take on more of the production process in-house.
