Cottage Grove-based tour company, Mad City Ghost Walks, is gearing up for the Halloween season. The company employs two guides, currently offering one main tour and adding paranormal and historical tours — including a Haunted State Street tour, a Haunted State Street Pub Crawl, and a Haunted Capitol Building and Square tour — throughout the season.
The company’s main offering, “The Best Damn Ghost Tour in Madison,” covers the Wisconsin Masonic Center, the Edgewater Hotel, Delta Kappa Epsilon House, Lake Mendota, Ann Emery Hall, the Memorial Union/Union Theater, UW–Madison’s Science Hall, Bascom Hill/Memorial Library, and the University Club/lower State Street.
